How to Become a Volunteer
Each individual is required to compete the following process:
STEP is the proud host of an AmeriCorps Volunteer Infrastructure Project (VIP) Fellow through our partnership with Jewish Family Services. Through 1,700 hours of service, our new team member is working to increase capacity within our volunteer program and provide the support, skills and resources volunteers need.
We look forward to sharing the results as we are able to reach further into the military community, helping those in financial crisis.

In 2018, our volunteers contributed 7,896 hours, helping to manage the following:
Emergency Financial Assistance: directly supported 275 families through the EFA process with a 90% success rate in moving military and veteran families from financial crisis to financial self-sufficiency.
